Border Line Stalker
Even though it feels creepier that ever, Jess and I do drive-by's of our future house. We even found a spot to park that has a good view of the house but is far enough away where the current homeowners won't call the cops! Oh the things you do when your excited about your first home. We figure as long as we don't bring out the binoculars, we are within the limits of okay.

Staying busy
Some may ask..."what does Jake do while Jess is hard at work?" In addition to being the best house husband I can be and working on issues that come along with being a first time home owner, I have been looking for work. Although it is a tough market, I have had a little success. I had an interview for a bank teller at Wells Fargo last week and this week I had an interview for a Sales Manager Position at Milestone Video Productions and Voltstar Productions. In less than two weeks, I've had two interviews. Well no word on the interviews, but I'm confident that the interviewer would see if I am a good match. So if I don't get an offer, there must be a better match out there. I am just happy to be getting interviews. I have to admit, I have only been applying to jobs I could see myself enjoying. That may be a fault in this market, but life is too short right!? (and honestly...I'm not that picky)Besides, I may be able to get my old position at Biolife Plasma Services! :) Anyways, I'll be sure to keep everyone updated.
Our second Pad
Candlewood Suites is a pretty good temporary home. It is a nice hotel with some of the best customer service we have encountered. We have a one bedroom suite on the third floor (extra exercise) and in the corner (Less neighbors). The hotel is located right on the "Green Belt" which is a path that goes up and down both sides of the Snake River throughout Idaho Falls. Although there is no pool or hot-tub in the hotel, there is a complimentary membership to the Apple Club, which is one of the best fitness clubs in IF. The hotel does have its own workout room as well. So with all that said, Jess and I have been putting in some good sweats. Our choice of temporary housing may seem silly at first, but considering the amenities, it was really the best choice. It has a fully furnished kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living room. Internet, cable, electricity and water is all included and there was no application fee, deposit, or leases. It has been a head-ache free choice. Overall, we are pretty darn happy to be here!
